The AFM is a missionary church – which is a community of God’s people that defines themselves as agents of God. It is rooted in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…” God sent His Son to redeem us. We confess that being missionary is the activity of God Himself. This prime calling of the church is deeply embedded in the AFM since our birth in 1908.
